So 2 months ago i replaced intel g3220 with i3 4170 and it worked perfectly, but i could not restart my cp. Pc would shut down and wont boot up again. That wasnt big problem for me until i tried to reinstall windows. After installation I get message "windows needs to restart to continue". After that PC shuts down and nothing happens. I can hear fans running but i cant continue installation.

what should i do?

Post is broken for night theme users. To fix this please edit your post, highlight your text and hit the remove formatting button. It's right next to the size drop down box.

On topic: Have you tried holding the power button down to power off your machine and restarting it? Windows 10 can act unusually sometimes.

I tested the fix I suggested on the quote, hence why it isn't broken.

Please quote or mention me if you would like a timely reply. Thank you!

On topic: Does it stall again? Have you tried going into the Windows Recovery Environment to rollback to a restore point or attempt an automatic repair?

Do you have another computer you could back up data to? If you don't, your main option would be to re-install Windows.

Problem is that i cant re-install windows because every time PC restarts during installation it freezes and when i turn it off and back on it puts me at the start of installation again. My plan was to put HDD in to friends pc and instal windows and then put back HDD to my pc.

I have all data backed up.

I was able to enter bios but i am not sure what should i do. Can you link me tutorial or help me, i am not experienced with bios

Certainly. If you would like exact instructions, please post the make and model of your motherboard, otherwise I am more than happy to give you rough instructions.

Do you have Windows install media handy? Either USB or disc is fine.

Oh that's trivial then.

Plug the Windows install media USB into your machine (Preferably a USB 3.0 port identifiable by the blue tab on the inside of the port). There are two of these on your rear IO.

Enter BIOS and look for boot options.  There should be a boot override you can use to boot from your install media instead of your regular boot drive.

Once the install media has loaded you can re-install Windows.
