I am planning on building my first PC. It will be used mainly for gaming and some creative stuff. Just hoping to get some advice and feedback on the parts I've picked before I move on! Thanks all feedback is aprreciated!

What kind of 'creative' stuff are you talking about? I am asking this since the parts you've picked are kinda overkill.

What resolution are you going to game at? If 1440p or higher (which I would hope with that 1080ti) you might want to go for an AMD r7 1700x/1700 or r5 1600x/1600 Also what exact PSU is that? and why do you have a z270 board with a non overclockable cpu? And why dominator platinum?

You mean like video editing? If so, I'd go for Ryzen 7 instead of the i7.

 

If you do stick with the i7 at least get the 7700K since you are getting such a good motherboard. Also why get the FE 1080 Ti? Get an aftermarket version, it will have much better cooling.
