nonononononono im talking a cable that takes 6 pin input for power, that then powers other SATA devices. not data connectors

never hard or seen one,

to anyone else that's reading: 6 pin PCIe power to SATA power

You can't (easily).

PCIe connectors are 12V, and HDDs and SSDs use 5V for 2.5" drives.

Exactly, the SATA power connector has +12V, +5V, and +3.3V (and ground), while the PCIe power connector has +12V (and ground). That's why you're not seeing these adapters. Generally the +3.3V is not used, and as such a molex adapter (which has +12V and +5V with ground) to SATA power is an option.

A SATA power splitter should also be okay unless maybe you're drawing too much power for those lines. In theory you could overload a rail on a power supply or overheat the cables, like if you're trying to power like ten velociraptors off an ungodly chain of splitters on the wrong setup. With two drives, it's very much unlikely to be a problem.
