Hey guys,

I finally got a 1 TB hard drive to go along with my 250gb ssd I've gotten by with for almost a year now (not a fun experience). I'm trying to install it right now, without luck. I can feel the hard drive moving when its plugged in to power, but it wont show up anywhere (including my bios)...

I tried using the cable I'm using for my ssd currently, and same thing.

Any ideas? My only idea is the harddrive sata port is messed up :/

Thanks for any help.

When I built my computer just recently, I thought some of the drives weren't showing up in the BIOS, but they were in some hidden menu. Maybe it isn't showing up in Windows because it isn't formatted yet. Does it show up in Windows Disk Management?

Sorry, I don't know a whole lot about formatting drives or Windows Disk Manager. I'd bet there are google-able support guides about that problem.
