hi there so I recently bought myself an steelseries rival 700 and I installed the steelseries engine, as I opened the app it reckognised my new mouse, and it say "important update!"

so I clicked to update the software of the mouse an the mouse itself started to flash blue, at the end it sayd "failed to update the software" and basically the mouse was bricked in update mode, so I attached my good old logitech g402 and... nothing! it was bricked aswell! so I restarted my pc, still bricked !!! I even detached all mouses and attached an old lenovo mouse and still nothing !!! I just did a clean install, everything was working fine until this, ive searched the web and there are other cases such as mine put dont describe that all of their mouse inputs are bricked, I went into device manager and took a photo

help would be grateful

thanks in advance

ps I can still use my keyboard though so I am able to perform any action but without mouse input

deinstall steelseries engine
reboot normal
reinstall steelseries engine
