wifi connection issues in linux.

hello everyone, 

 

so, i'm experiencing weird wifi problems on linux. 

 

my wifi connection will work for about 10 minutes, and then i lose internet connection. the network manager will display that it's connected, but nothing will work. 

 

to solve it i need to turn my wifi off and on again. 

 

i'm currently running arch linux, but i have always had this problem on ubuntu and distributions based on it before. 

 

my laptop is a lenovo G50-45.

Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6164 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 20)

 

kernel version:

4.10.13-1-ARCH

How old is it because I have a Lenovo laptop and the wifi died after a year

it was made on novemer 20th 2015, however i don't think that's the problem, because the wifi works in windows 10...
