Replacing mesh side panel with window

Hey everyone, I've got the Rosewill Thor V2 and wanted to replace the mesh on the side panel with plexiglass or any other material if you have some suggestions. But I was looking on amazon for plexiglass and couldnt think of what thickness to get that wouldn't be to bulky, but also so thin that it would warp and bend once it's attached. And if possible im looking to stay below $50 since what I saw on amazon was definitley on the pricier side. Of course all help is apperciated!

1/8" lexan is probably the best option for not being to heavy while still being strong.  1/4 would be overkill.

Glass is cheaper. Way cheaper than plexiglass. I called my local glass place and had them custom cut 3 pieces of glass for my case. Each piece cost ~ $20. I highly recommend you measure your dimensions and check around for a local glass shop. This also afford you the opportunity for smoked glass, smoother edges if you want, and you can use foam tape just the same as plexi. 1/8" is plenty thick, I agree with @intender.
