Headphone/microphone combo input

Hello everyone,

I'm planning on building a new PC soon (my first build), and one of the thing that disturbing me with the current one is that I can't plug my headphones, which also have a microphone and only one cable to my PC and use both the microphone and the headphones with the same one.

Anybody know what input should I look for in the motherboard so I'll have a headphone/microphone input?

don't bother most mobo,s come with separate mic/speaker sockets

just get an adapter from ebay
