hi why i cant see my linux default desktop using usb for booting.when i select live it just shows some stuff and then on my monitor i see not optimized

i cant see anything it is just a black screen and  just my monitor itself says not optimized like i have not even connected my monitor to my pc

i did but the thing is that i connected my monitor to an adapter ( hdmi to vga ) and i think that is the reason

you might want to try iGPU

Don't use kali if you can't troubleshoot video problems. Try ubuntu mate or mint.

 

If the monitor isn't recognized kali probably doesn't have a compatible driver for your graphics card. If you have an igpu try using that.
