Hello, to start off I'll explain my situation. I just recently bought a 1070 (Asus Strix OC) and I've noticed that on GTA5 Online I get noticably lower FPS than I did in the past. Running GTA5 on low settings I'll get somewhere between 40 - 80 FPS (Ranges based on amount of players). I know that getting 80FPS isn't something to complain about, but I was getting higher fps with a GTX 770 in the past. Not sure if anyone knows of anything I can do to fix this or of any know problems but if you do any input would be appreciated.

Proccesor: i7 4790K @ 4.0

GFX: GTX1070 Asus Strix OC (OC Mode)

I don't know if it makes much of a difference but it's running on a WD black drive while my OS is on a SSD.

Try running DDU: Link here and re-install your video drivers. Possibly a conflict of drivers if you didnt do this when you upgraded your GPU.

When I first got the card I clean installed windows and made sure I removed my drivers, I can make sure and use DDU.

if it was a clean brand new install of windows then you should be ok to not have to use DDU. But if all you did was select the "clean install" option from nvidia, I would give DDU a shot.

Downloaded the program and it seems that some of the old drivers were still there so I just cleaned that up I'll hop on now to see if that's made any type of difference.

Did this solve your problem? I am going to guess it likely did since we have nothing back from you since :)
