New build for content creation

Hey,

 

I'm looking into a new CPU, MB and RAM combo, since my mainboard decided to quit service this weekend. Prices for a used replacements off ebay aren't much lower than a new, current generation mainboard, hence this first forum post to get some feedback on a new setup, with a budget of about 600€.

Current system for content creation and occasional gaming:
Intel i7 2600K
Asus P8Z68-V Pro
4x 8GB DDR3-1333MHz Mushkin

MSI GTX 770 Gaming OC

 

Right now I'm eyeballing an Intel setup like the one below, but I would be open for AMD as well. The new Ryzen models look very tempting with their 8 cores. However I've never used AMD before, thus lacking experience how well it works with Nvidia cards and the Adobe suite.

 

Planned updated setup so far:
Intel i7 6700
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
2x 8GB Corsair Vengance DDR4-2666MHz (with 4x 8GB later on)

 

RAM choice wouldn't be final and come down to availability and price in the end. So far, value RAM always served me well. I know that I could save some money by choosing the H170 over the Z170 (since it's no K processor), but I would also give up on ports, and I don't really want to do that.
