Hey all. I'm doing a project for one of my management classes about, as the title says, Target data breach. Just trying to learn a bit about network security from someone. I figured here would be a nice place to start.

They had awful leaders who didn't understand the importance of security, when shit hit the fan their ego was so inflated by their false sense of accomplishment that it didn't hit them till a week later when they realized they fucked up.

Yea I was reading that they could have stopped the breach right away.
