Internet Slow on PC

So i did a SpeedTest on my Desktop, Phone, and Laptop. On my phone and laptop i got 26-33 Mbps download. On my PC, by contrast, i was getting around 10 Mbps, all while testing them from the same location. I got a Powerline and hooked that up, and i got the same crappy speeds. 

My Desktop has

i5 (Late 2014)

NVIDIA GTX 970

8 GB DDR3 RAM

TPLink wifi card

256gb Crucial SSD

1 TB Hard Drive 

 

Any ideas?

What's the specific model of the TPLink wifi card, and what version of WiFi does it operate on? (AC xxxx, N, B, G, etc)

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.
