This is my first post on the forums, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I make.

My current PC is built on mostly old components and does not allow me to play new titles without running at low settings or limited framerates.

Last summer, I decided that it was time for an upgrade and went with an RX 470 because I figured that my GeForce 610 was the largest bottleneck I had.

I still use the 610 to run a secondary monitor, but do not run anything intensive on that screen.

Current overall system

- CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE (Stock cooler)

- Mobo: ASUS M4N72-E

- RAM: 4Gb  DDR2 (I don't even know the brand but it is 4 1Gb sticks)

- Storage: 128 Gb Samsung 840 pro SSD

250 Gb WD Blue (from about 6 years ago)

- PSU: 500W non-modular power supply

- GPU: XFX AMD RX 470

            Galaxy GeForce 610

- Case: Don't know the model but it has everything I need, not everything I want. I would like something with space for a radiator and with RGB control.

I believe that's everything. If I have forgotten please bring it to my attention.

From here, I see two choices: Start fresh with a new everything except for the RX 470, or upgrade the mobo to an AM3+ socket (AM4

if it still supports AM3 when it comes out), upgrade the CPU to an FX series or Ryzen when it comes out, and upgrade to 8 or 16 Gb of RAM.

- Budget: $500 +- $50
- Zip Code or Location: Oklahoma, USA
- Specific Use: Gaming and maybe some 3D modeling
- Any preferred components?: AMD products ($/performance)
- Any spare parts you can re-use?: RX 470, Case (preferably not).
- Overclocking your processor?: Sure
- Need an Operating System?: No
- Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard?: No
- Need a Wireless Card or Adapter? No
- Need Another Component? (Specify): Would like to have an AIO or custom loop. Would prefer a fully modular PSU.

I'm posting this before Ryzen launches because I want to read your opinions on FX in 2017 (is the $120 8 core obsolete already?)

I also do not believe I can find a water block for my GPU (I should have had some foresight and ordered a reference card)

I'll answer any questions that you have about my build or what I want to the best of my ability.
