OP'll have to remove the front drive cages as the card would hit it in the H440 :(

Also you don't need thermal paste, some comes in the box. 

Also 7700k and compatible board is as good. 

That of a high end board should have bios update w/o cpu else go with MSI arctic z270

If you must use Corsair fans, then consider the ML series w/ white LED.
