I just got my new zowie fk2 in the mail and the cord came tied up which causes it to be quite horribly kinked and "zig-zag-y".

How do i straighten the cord without damaging it?

I've read that if you apply some heat and keep it straight then it should stay that way, what are some good and quick methods of doing this?

I thought about laying it flat and keeping the cable straight as i heat it slightly with a hairdryer, but i have no idea if this is safe. (cable is not braided)

Just use it for a few days and it will straighten itself out.
