Hi, iv'e just bought a new gtc 1070 but gets no signal on the monitor.

Before this gpu i had amd rx 480 and had no problems, but now i cant get a signal. Can it be the drivers? I have the amd drivers installed currently. But its weird becuase i cant even get up the bios during start up.

Ive also tried starting the pc without the gpu but it didnt made a diffrence.

When connecting it to the motherboard, take the new GPU out.

If you mean that i should start the pc with no gpu in it and the monitor conected to the mobo. Ive already done that.

And it still didn't display anything? That's not good. You are using a CPU with an iGPU, right? Not some Xeon.

The cpu im using is a brand new i7-7700k

Try reseating everything you can (CPU, GPU, RAM) and unplug all hard drives. Leave the keyboard and mouse connected.

Okey, and as said previously i have amd drivers installed if thats a problem? Becuase i had a pc some time ago and i had this problem aswell. I fixed it with pluging in the old gpu and installed drivers for the new gpu and then it worked. But sadly i dont have my amd gpu anymore so i cant do that in this case.
