kodi Audio Problems on Windows 10

I recently have had this problem with my samsung laptop, where when i watch Kodi the audio begins to stutter and finally either stops working completely or hangs up on one spot and makes an annoying repeating sound. I first thought that it might be my laptop speakers, but i plugged in my apple earpods that otherwise work and it still did it. This leads me to believe that it is a software issue. I have checked all drivers and they are up to date. I also use this laptop to talk in a teamspeak lobby and it doesnt seem to occur then. So that would mean that it is Kodi's issue then. But when ever it makes the repeating sound it doesnt matter if Kodi is open or not, the sound does not stop until the laptop is completely shut down. I ahve tried everything to my knowledge and i dont know where to go from here.
