So I've been running BOINC on my server computer when I'm not around and recently I'm been coming home to it being crashed.

Today I saw it happen. I was sitting in front of it and the screen went blank, then everything came back really slowly. Not surprisingly since BOINC uses the cpu and gpu. But then all of the GPU sensors (temp, voltage, everything) stopped working. Afterburner doesn't see it and says it "lost contact."

Despite that, the computer still performs perfectly normally in valley, with the exact same score as when the GPU is performing normally.

Any idea what's going on?

EDIT: Even more interesting. HWMonitor kept recording the sensors just fine. The GPU seemed to be acting normal according to that...

EDIT2: A restart brings them back. Drivers are updated.

EDIT3: Valley has been running for hours now. Everything seems... normal. Perhaps BOINC is stressing the GPU in weird ways?
