Hey guys,

So when I built my computer, the sata power cable that came in the box did not reach to where I wanted to mount my ssd. So, I thought it would be fine if I used a Sata power cable from my brothers evga supernova 750 watt PSU. The computer would turn on for a sec then shut off. So, after testing everything, I discovered it was the sata power cable. Then, I plugged in the sata power cable that came with my PSU and it worked. Would this have any repercussions on my hardware in the future? and would it do any good to RMA my power supply? Thanks.
