Hey! I'm looking for input on a build.

Here it is,

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/6cMNvV

EDIT: I know the 60GB SSD is low, but I already have a spare 1TB WD HDD I was gonna put in as well. I had planned just to use the SSD as boot drive.

My budget is around $600(US).

The PC is aimed for moderate gaming at most. Games such as, Overwatch, WoW, and other like titles.

I'm not looking for like amazing quality and amazing fps, because I know that won't happen with my budget. I'm just looking for a PC that can handle some games at medium-ish quality with a stable (above 30) fps.
Also looking to get the best parts I can for my $.

Thanks in advance!

WoW is CPU intensive, going from a 3770k to a 4970k saw me gain like 20fps at 1080 (was like 2 years ago). I would aim for a better CPU

The budget of $600 is slightly expandable.

I tossed in the 60GB SSD with the intention for it to only be a boot drive, as I have a spare 1TB WD I was gonna put in.

As for the CPU, I was looking into the option for something better, but wasn't fully sure. My current laptop seems to handle WoW just fine, so I had assumed the A8 would be fine.

This really caught my eye, I like it. But I have a question, would the possibility of blocked drive bays affect anything? I'm going off the compatibility notes in the build.

Oh shayte dawg, I honestly don't know. I'm guessing it could mean that the GPU won't fit in the case since it could block drive ways. drive bays aren't that wide so you might have to get a longer case, or get a different design. There are many more options that will probably fit.

  • The Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 350mm long, but video cards over 210mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI Radeon RX 470 4GB ARMOR OC Video Card is 246mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

according to this, some drive bays won't be able to use, just meaning drive bays can't be accessed. doesn't mean bad, but you'll lose a bay or 2. Just get a bigger case i guess then

Yeah, I'll probably just switch up the case. Thanks though!

Ah ok I didn't realise that, in that case just switch in the ssd for the HDD. One thing though. I wouldn't recommend a 60gb as an OS drive. I used an OCZ Agility 3 60gb a few years ago using W7. The thing really fills up even though I had a 1TB for all my games and programs etc. W10 is an even bigger foot print, I would really try and grab a min 100gb just so you don't have to chase free space in it every week.
