hi i was wondering what was the cleanest looking case on the market and what is the best x99 motherboard for gaming and editing. i was thinking asus rampage v 10 th edition but wasnt sure if there were any nice eatx cases. please help

there are a lot of cases with good eatx support. What sort of case are you looking for? are you okay with cube cases? do you need multiple radiator support? do you prefer small cases or are you okay with bigger/massive ones? also what sort of budget do you have? is there any particular colour or aesthetic you're after? do you need a large side panel or tempered glass case?

EATX is simply ATX but a bit wider, therefore most cases that support ATX also have room for EATX since there is rarely anything immediately to the right of the ATX mounting holes (with the exception of a case like the Define S), your options are actually pretty diverse, so in order for us to find something you want, you may wish to be more specific to help us narrow down your choices =)

i would like a case with tempered glass to see my components and also usable with led strips , a cleaner look without drive cages showing and easy cable management .  i was thinking enthoo evolve atx tempered glass but couldnt find a good mobo fro it . i will be using the 6850k and 2 gtx 1080s . also i will have 1 m.2 and 2 ssd's and 2 hard drive's

something to note... most people don't need the 40 lanes the 6850k provides... you will very likely be able to use the 6800k with no downsides except saving a ton of money (although if you've done your homework and are certain you need the lanes, then don't let me stop you)

As far as cases go, and the Evolve ATX TG is a good choice (your desired motherboard will be 6mm too wide to fit in it), but there are many options open to you, here are a few that I think are cool and would work for your choice of motherboard:

annnnd there are others... but i'm tired and can't really think well atm... perhaps i come back later xD

depends what you mean by "best".... raw overclocking potential is the only thing that is going to really affect performance, and you are probably going to reach your cooling limits before you reach a point where your motherboard selection will make any meaningful difference for that. That being said, here are your best bets for overclocking boards that should be broadwell-E compatible and are ATX:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/L6rcCJ/asus-motherboard-rogstrixx99gaming

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ysL7YJ/msi-x99a-gaming-pro-carbon-atx-lga2011-3-motherboard-x99a-gaming-pro-carbon

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/NfvZxr/asus-motherboard-x99deluxeii

Any of those 3 should be awesome for you. I also want to mention this last board here. It doesn't have as many awesome features as the other boards, but it does have excellent built in thunderbolt 3. The X99 Deluxe II also comes with a extension card in the package for thunderbolt, but I still want to mention this board in case you think it may be your kind of thing:

I would personally probably buy the Deluxe II if I were in your situation (assuming you have given up on the EATX board) since it comes with the most features, but you can get any of those first 3 boards and have a good time
