Hey,

So, i wanted to make an RAID 0 Array out of the 2 hard drives that i had for my HTPC. But the Windows install USB won't find the Array, no matter what Drivers i am installing.

I first tried Win10 with Win7 Drivers, (there are no newer ones out) but that didn't work out. Then i tried Win10 with modified Win7 to Win10 Drivers, but that also didn't worked. The last Thing i have done, is trying Win7 with the original Win7 Drivers, but that also didn't worked.

Can anyone help me? Please?

If it's necessary, the Mainboard is an ASRock M3N78D with the Nvidia nForce 720D Chipset.

Thanks :)

are you sure the raid is set up currently? You could try a Linux live cd and see if it a windows problem if it doesn't show in Linux it is probably a hard/setting issue.

Just now, zMeul said:

it's quite likely W10 doesn't have the nForce RAID drivers in it, so you have to provide them during install

but from what I can see, there only newer drivers are for W7

that's what i said...

I had a second USB Stick with the Drivers plugged in, and i installed them during the Windows Installation, but it couldn't find the Array nevertheless.

Even with the Win7 .iso bootable on an USB Stick (i have no Disc drive left over)
