Looks alright, get another brand of gpu.

EVGA's having problems with the cooling on the 1000 line.

Definitely compatible. (if you used pcpartpicker, it will only let you use compatible parts)

System looks pretty beast for gaming and editing work, I don't have any other recommendations but I'm sure others will chime in.

When in doubt, re-format.

What is your budget/location ?

Corsair Dominator ram is nice, but it is overpriced imo. Same goes for that motherboard. You could easily go with something cheaper.

I would also look at going with an M.2 SSD such as the Samsung Polaris drives, as if you are going to be working with large files then you should see a difference.

I mean, I don't really have a budget but at the same time I want something cheap but stupidly good. I was thinking about changing the motherboard but why change the SSD? I won't use much storage. Can you see another motherboard for me?

I really like the ASUS's ones. Very quiet too. Msi is also a solid choiche.

Did you say say ASUS GPU... there was a thread about 4 pages long people arguing how trash ASUS is and how fake Indian support is better than their support.

Hes better of waiting for new Kabby or Zen x99 chips if they ever come out.

except they're going to be X299, so would need a new motherboard as well where as the 6800k is the newest version available for X99 right now

The Samsung SM961, 950 PRO, 960 PRO or 960 EVO etc all have much faster read/write speeds than the 850 Pro.

I would go with something like the Asus X99-A II for the motherboard.
