Posted October 31, 2016 Hey guys I'm planning on buying this monitor : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236717&cm_re=Asus_ROG_Swift_PG348Q_G-Sync-_-24-236-717-_-Product I'm buying this monitor bc I want to have an epic game experience on AAA titles but as I'm a CSGO tryharder I wonder if this is still playable on such a monitor. Does anybody here have a monitor of the same size and tryhard CSGO ? Is it too wide to properly play it ? Does the response time matter ? Does G-Sync matter ? Can you tell the difference between 100Hz and 144Hz ? Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/683947-ultrawide-for-csgo/ Share on other sites
 Posted October 31, 2016 yes you can tell the difference between 100hz and 144hz. it is too wide for csgo to be played competitively. response time matters a lot. dont have Gsync for CSGO, not good Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/683947-ultrawide-for-csgo/#findComment-8787210 Share on other sites
 Posted October 31, 2016 I have an Ultrawide and play CSGO casually. You do not get any more pixels or FOV, it will give you the option to stretch the image to fit or to run it in 16:9 with black bars. I've never noticed my response time having any sort of issues (5ms) and don't care too much for G-Sync yet. • NCASE M1 • i5-12600kf • RTX 4060Ti FE • Z690M-ITX • SF600 • NH-L9x65 Chromax • LPX 32GB Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/683947-ultrawide-for-csgo/#findComment-8787220 Share on other sites
