Posted October 5, 2016 I have decided to buy a Gigabyte GTX 1070 but i don't know what the difference between the g1 gaming and the windforce are. I am also looking to watercool it so I'm not really concerned with cooler and RGB lighting is there a difference in the components. Posted October 5, 2016 I went with the g1 gaming for my 1080 at the time they cost about the same on amazon for me so i just went with the one with the slightly better clock and cooler. Posted October 5, 2016 Difference is : 2 Fan on the windforce, 3 on the G1 Lower clock speed on the Windforce, but you know, clock speed is always manageable through overclock utility so you can clock it to the same speed. Reason why people would buy the G1 is if they dont plan to OC and use the factory OC.
