The reason for the ram is due to me having 178GB of it from a friend so that is free and I want to create a Ram disk out of it. This build is for CSGO @1440p 200FPS everything on high in terms of settings, for some schoolwork and maybe other games I.e battlefield 1

my budget is 2500$ before peripherals I.e monitor etc

that build is pretty solid, but i might recommend a gtx 1070. you could switch out the i7-6700k for an i5-6600k and use the extra savings to get the better graphics card. also pixio makes a 1440p 25" 144Hz monitor that is actually about $400 if that is an option

Is 27" worth it for a esports monitor st that point does it become quite big?

Wait what? A GTX1060 can get 200fps on high settings at 1440p!? Pls get a better video card cuz I'm very certain you can't get over 120fps at that settings unless I'm wrong which I probably am so pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I mean 4:3 1440p on CSGO specifically not other titles like BF1

a 27" might be a bit large for your needs, and getting a 1070 will future proof you a bit, as well as guarantee you the high frame rates you are looking for.

I'm pretty sure you're right. A gtx1060 is not really designed for 1440p. That's what the 1070 is for.

Love not hate
