Hi

Lately I've been having problems with inconsistent download speeds going up and down every other 5 minutes.

I think my internal WiFi adapter might be a bit broken. The driver is updated, and there is nothing wrong with the router as all other connected devices have no problems.

I have double checked with my laptop, and it had no problems with the speed.

The adapter I have is a TP-Link 300 mbps and I've had it for about 1,5 years. I would really like some tips or advice on what to do, as this is holding my gaming back :/

Gaming on N-draft Wi-Fi. And over legacy PCI no less. :D Do you or any of your friends have a desktops where you could test the card just to verify it's a HW issue. Then just replace it if it is. That's a $15 part... Short of that, try aligning the antennas better (for MiMo, you need to get the angle just right), make sure they're screwed in all the way and not dirty. Maybe take your rig right next to the router to rule out any outside interference.

I can try to test it on my friends computer. I doubt the problem is caused by the antennas since they have been in the same place for as long as I have had the card.

This problem have only been bothering me for the last two weeks now, so I dont think there are any problems with interference and signal strength :)
