Im looking to upgrade my case i have an older case i retro fitted to work with my newish hardware. im wanting to watercool the system ( 15 4690k, asus vII hero, 2x gtx 1080 strix, 16gb dominator, evga 850 supernova g2. within the year i plan on watercooling the entire system so i've been looking into the cases and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or am i on the right track? The only case i've seen first hand is the corsair 760t and the case is a bit flimsy for my liking but i still like the looks.

I think your choice could depend on the fact if you open up your case a lot or not.

My personal choice would be number 2.

 

The Phanteks one looks like a hassle to open the sidepanel.

Undoing 4 screws everytime when you want to change/repair/add/clean parts would annoy me a lot.

Just opening a door with number 1 = EZ PZ.

I tend to clean it a couple times a month cause my house isn't the most dust free of places. I personally like the tempered glass look but am worried about possible room with having to large strix 1080s and a decent sized pump and resv.

I have the Phanteks Evolve mATX (non tempered glass) and I love it. Seriously my favorite case that I've owned. If you decide to get the non-tempered glass version, it opens up without removing any screws at all.

Seeing that you have 2 1080s and are planning to watercool the whole system, I would definitely consider the Be Quiet Dark Base 900 Pro. It also is aluminum and has that high end luxury quality and finish that the Phanteks Evolv has. But is bigger, being a full tower and its modular aspect and abundant radiator support means you could really do anything as far as the custom watercool loops goes. 

 

If you're worried about room on the other cases, definitely consider this one.
