So, is the Dell U2311H good for use as a second monitor? I'm getting a used one for like $50, and would like to have a second monitor for productivity reasons, but I just blew all of my budget on the system I just built. So, is this a good model? Anandtech's review puts it as a good monitor against its competition at the time.

 

Also, how should I check the condition of the panel, other than flashing a full screen Red, Green and Blue to check for any dead pixels?
