So I've just ordered the parts for my PC and for the upmost safety I'm trying to eliminate anything that could possibly damage my system. Recently I've seen that most people use surge protectors to plug their PCs into however I have no clue what voltage and wattage and all that type of stuff I need incase the one I buy doesn't carry enough voltage to power my PC or at least power it properly. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/nbwJf8 is the parts for my PC. Any suggestions on what surge protector would be great or any input on how I should proceed to look for one would be greatly appreciated.

i don't know for sure, but i think that the voltage specification on surge protectors are just to show, what sort of voltage it can protect against (which means bigger is better).

as for wattage, i think that surge protectors can handle just as much as the outlet can supply.

4k the dream
