Budget

My budget is $3000 USD.

Goal

I would like to play racing/flight sims, new AAA titles, and VR games. I would also like to be able to play in surround and or close to 144fps when possible.

Side Note

I already have some of these parts, partly from buying them already and partly from winning them at a Lanfest event.

The power supply is probably overkill, but I can't return it.

Not quite sure about the MOBO. I plan on overclocking, and I've heard people like this board.

That motherboard is good and can easily overclock.  Everything else is good

What do you think of this motherboard? It can use 2 more fans. Also does the pump for that cpu cooler use one of the fan ports?
