Hello.

I recently bought serious sam HD, the first encounter.

When I got the game, it wouldn't launch, but after installing everything in the redist folder, the game worked. Hooray!

However, there is a problem

When I am playing without vsync (Which I am not prepared to change), there is severe artifacting that goes away when I enable vsync.

I am at a loss for what to do as I don't want to play the game with vsync, or with massive artifacts that obscure a quarter of the screen with a checkerboard pattern

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Since you have an AMD card, the only way I know of to limit your FPS without turning on Vsync is to use Rivatuner Statistics. I don't know exactly HOW though, so I'd suggest you look that up.

If you don't want to limit your FPS in any way at all, and want the artifacting to go away, your best bet is to update your drivers or try AMD support.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
