I7 6700 Keeps causing errors with W10 install.

To make this long story short, I was given a prebuilt that suffered from the same problems I'm having now. I thought I could fix it and save some money by keeping the CPU. I now have the i7 6700 mated with an Asrock H170M Pro 4 motherboard, a Rosewill 500W, 16Gb Crucial Ballistix ram, and a Kingston 258Gb SSD. I am completely able to boot into the bios and configure anything.The problem lies when I try to boot off of my windows 10 installation media. I get the Windows logo and then the damned Frowny face of death. My errors all seem to be CPU based and I can't figure out what else to do. I've tried everything I can think of.

Please do your best to help me as I really don't look forward to replacing the cpu. Anything is appreciated
