OK guys, I need unbiased opinions on whether to go AMD or Intel, I DO NOT WANT TO START A FLAME WAR! Although that is sure to be what I'm doing.  I'm putting together a gaming build in the $1500-1550 range.

Although, these aren't up in the $1500 range this is what I came up with. Now I need a monitor,speakers, keyboard, wifi booster and operating system. I have a mouse and mouse pad.

 

I play a good bit of the Total War series on steam, The Forest, some light CS:GO ( I haven't gone up in rank yet), World of Warcraft, Dishonored, Fallout series, Hitman, DOOM and Dark Souls, and Arma 3.

 

I would like the GTX 1080 if possible, but I can settle for the 1070 or 980ti if I have to. The 1080 might be overkill for my needs, but I might as well go overkill because I'd like this to last at least 4 years or so. 

 

Also looked at the RX 480, I'm very curious with AMD, I think I'm leaning to intel at the moment honestly.
