The AMD 12.11 Beta Driver Experience

I wanna know if you are on 12.11 Beta and if you like it.

So far i tested some games get a FPS gain on my XFX 7970D.

But in some DX11 games i need set my overclock speed lower.

Furmark Stable for 12 hours on 1150/1525 +20% power.

But Farcry 3 only stay stable on 1000/1425 whatever the power setting is.

So share your story like this

The card you using (like 7870)

The manufacturer of the card (like XFX)

The Experience (like OC speeds etc)

I've been using this driver with the 6000 series and I have to say that it's solid. I have no problems with my games. I can't overclock because I get problems with my unlocked bios on my 6950.

Yea i saw it i need more info about the card before i can give you the correct bios file

o you have problems with your overclock only with far cry 3 ?

Because it could be that the voltages aren't adjusting properly.

The card you're using: AMD Radeon HD 7970

The manufacturer of the card: XFX

The Experience: Great! Got clock speeds at 1025/1575 no crashing at all. All the new games that have come out (Far Cry 3, Hitman, Planetside 2) have all run pretty much 60 FPS no drops. Really satisfied with the new drivers and I could suggest the beta drivers to anyone who doesn't have them already

The card you're using: 2x Radeon HD 6970's

The manufacturer of the cards: Sapphire

The Experience: I actually had a lot of problems with 12.10 with windows 8 x64 just with the control center and things not appearing and not recognizing the my graphics cards. So the factt the 12.11 is working properly so for me experience is much better. But as for gaming difference nothing out of error margins.

Try using "GPU Tool" instead of Furmark, it is like Furmark except tells you when there is a slightest error (1 miscalculated pixel) and so you know that it is not fully stable and might crash in a specific game (Like FarCry 3 in your case).

same results can clock it to 1125/1500 without issues running for 4 hours now
