Full or DIY Keyboard

To be more descriptive, I am asking for opinions (especially of those who play osu!) on what i should do about my keyboard. (logitech k120)

I have looked into a few mechanical keyboards and have narrowed it down to the CM Masterkeys Pro S. (priced around $130) but i can't quite afford it. 

I have also recently seen the option of making a DIY keypad (~$35) which would work for my main game (osu!) for a while. With this i would be putting together everything, probably soldering it, and possibly coding. (things i am actually interested in learning more of).

With the DIY solution, i could hold off long enough to finish my new PC (current one on 6yrs) and save up to get the keyboard and monitor i want.

Though i can hold off with the full keyboard, it would be nice for the other games i play (such as CS:GO) 

But i just want someone's opinion on what i should do for the time being.
