Hey guys.

I've been stuck on a Packard Bell Viseo 230WS for ages now. It uses DVI and is very very old, bulky and heavy. What I do appreciate on this screen is it's matte finish.
Does anyone know of any good 24/23 inch monitors that have a matte finish? Preferable not too pricy. And what are your experiences with matte screens?

Thanks in advance.

matte screens are just easier to view without having to constantly adjust because of screen glare. however, glossy panels generally have better colors, but the ips should make up for that somewhat

What brands do you recommend personally?

samsung, acer, and lg would be my top choice. dell is arguable the best, but a lot more expensive. benq, and sony are good too. i tend to avoid asus because they have inferior quality control and customer service, and aoc has lower quality panels (lots of dead pixels and rmas). anything else would be hit or miss, since theyd be using b grade panels rejected by the larger companies, so if you consider those, make sure to do your research and read the reviews

I love my Dell u2414H and I plan to buy 2 more in the future. It has a lot of inputs, really slim bezels, and very accurate colors. I don't notice any ghosting while gaming, but some people say that they do. I mainly bought it for video and photo editing, and it certainly works well.

My main computer:
