Hey! My sister has the Acer Chromebook 11. Unfortunately, a problem occurred today for the first time ever. The trackpad is no longer working (or barely), we can't left-click or right-click. I know it's not a hardware issue since when we connected a mouse, the same thing happened except that at least with the mouse, you could right click as much as you want. I tried multiple things. First-of-all, I went in the settings, unchecked the tap-2-click and rechecked it then pressed ok. It didn't work (obviously since I'm making this post). I then did a powerwash which resulted in no differences at all. I finally decided to do a recovery. Once I finished recovering the Chromebook, I tried again. It worked for a few minutes and then, like before, the trackpad or the mouse weren't working anymore. My sister was really sad when this happened since she currently can't afford a new laptop (even a new cheap Chromebook). Do you guys know any fix at all? Do you need more info? BTW, am I right to say that this is a software issue? Thank you very much.
