PG279Q ROG LED

My Asus PG279Q ROG LED wont turn off when the screen goes in sleep mode unless i turn them off manually from the control panel. Is there anything can be done so it turns off once the screen in sleep mode?

Other than hitting the power button on the screen, no.

It might not matter if you change monitor in 5 years, but they have a rather number of hours they last.

So I prefer to hit the power button, so I know the time I spend away from my expensive monitor, dont end up killing it too soon.
