So I've started building this new PC, on Friday I went to Microcenter, and purchased the following.

Corsair Carbide 88R Case

Core i5 6600k

128gb SSD (For windows)

Corsair H55 Water Cooler

Mobo (Can't remember the exact model, but it's M ATX and I've loved it so far)

8GB (2x4) DDR4 RAM

1tb HDD

I'll post some pic's of what I've done so far, and I've had 0 issues with it (at least in the little time I've had it)

So my question for you guys is;

I'm getting some LED's, New PSU, and new Graphics Card. What should I get?

For the LED's, I'm thinking Purple, or green, or maybe even blue.

For the New PSU I'm thinking 500-650w

and for the New Graphics card, I'm thinking of waiting till the 480 comes out and getting one of those.

Also, I want the PSU cables to match the colour of my build, so what should I do for that? Cable sleeves or..?

ONE MORE THING: I've got tons of room off to the right of the inside of the case, what should I put there?

And yes, I know there's a broken SATA Power plug down there, it came that way for some reason.

The new CXM units have sleeved cables as well, and you're better off upgrading your PSU anyway, might as well get a fully modular one for good looks :)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

@Energycore Know any good PSU's that are modular for a decent, cheap price?

From the looks of it you appear to have the ssd in the wrong spot I'm sorry to say.  You currently have it in the HDD cage/bay.  If you look at the right of the rear right side interior wall there are holes for mounting 2 SSDs in that area.  The manual that came with the 88R will explain how to mount the ssd in the correct spot which will free up the HDD cage for the HDD you have.

I have an 88R that I moved my secondary desktop into a while back and I remember seeing the info about the ssd mounting in the manual when I looked through it.

For a graphics card is suggest getting a 480 like you're considering or if you want more horsepower I'd suggest looking at a non-founder's edition GTX 1070.

Have fun with the rest of your build.  ?

Yeah that was just there after I first booted it, I've re-arranged it and put it in the correct spot, and moved my HHD's into the bay.

Thanks :)
