Power supply is ridicously overkill and apparently the MSI Gaming X is a good bit cheaper for some reason...

Good luck finding a GTX 1070 by tomorrow.

The CPU cooler, mobo, ram, gpu, case and psu suck

They don't...

Tell me how they suck. I just cut $500 out of your build. Obviously you're gonna make some sacrifices.

Yes, but not THAT much!

Okay, you're being unreasonable. Let me tell you why.

Motherboard makes no difference in performance. The only reason you should be complaining is if we picked ones that lacked the features you needed.

32GB of RAM is ridiculously overkill. Especially for video editing.

@Comic_Sans_MS gave you the exact same GPU? I gave you a significantly cheaper one which will give you roughly the same performance.

Your case has shit airflow and it's expensive.

PSU is overkill. System won't draw more than 350W under full load and heavily overclocked.

CPU cooler is 200 freaking bucks! You asked us to cut $500 bucks, didn't you?

Either take our advice or leave it. The fact that you expected 'better' components while saving $500 is ridiculous.

@HKZeroFive and I want to know what is wrong with:

  • The graphics card you choose (ASUS 1070)
  • The same graphics card with a different cooler (MSI 1070),
  • Silverstone Strider Gold,
  • Antec High Current Gamer,
  • The motherboard you choose (ASUS x99-PRO-USB3.1)
  • MSI X99 Gaming 7
  • Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3
  • Be Quiet Pure Rock
  • G-Skill Value
  • Corsair Vengeance
  • Phanteks Enthoo Pro?

I am here all day, can you explain what is wrong with each part individually?
