Hi,

I have a question, might be a dum question. i have my machine hooked up to a apc battery backup 550va and 330watt. I have my other small network devices and monitor also hooked up to it as well. Would this cause any sort of problems? I had this connected with my old psu 850watt. Please let me know

Would what cause problems? A Cooler Master v1000? Having other things plugged into your battery thingymabob?

No No, i am trying to figure out if the battery backup would cause any issues with my system or overclocking. I am not sure if i should hook my pc to the battery backup since its a 550va and 300watt backup.

What has a Cooler Master psu got to do with it then?

330W should be enough for a normal system if it's not running like 100% all the time, but it depends on what components your computer is running and overclocking..

btw, the wattage of the PSU doesn't matter, as the PC doesn't use more power when you have a powerful PSU. Might I ask why you are getting / using such a high-wattage psu? it's not necessary unless you're running quad crossfire / SLI and / or using dual CPUs.
