So my eyes happened to land upon a program I have on my pc, which came with my Gainward card when I installed it: EXPERTool. I've made good use of it, what with its simple status reading chart and GPU fan control. However, I've never been too confident in my own ability to overclock, well, anything. And every time I see someone overclocking, they use MSI Afterburner.

So, since I cannot find any reviews, what are your thoughts about Gainward's EXPERTool for overclocking? This is purely for learning purposes, I do not intend to overclock yet (if at all).

You can download and use MSI Afterburner regardless of the brand of card you have. That way you will be able to follow tutorials and learn.

That's not what I asked. I wanted to know whether Gainward's EXPERTool is a good software for overclocking or not.

I don't really have anything to say about the EXPERTool. However, I do think there is a good reason for the majority of people using Afterburner.

After a little google session all I see about Expertool is that its not as good as MSI Afterburner, doesn't always work as it should. Some people even said its dangerous to use because the fan speed controller on it is not working optimally. Bad OC interface. Other than that its hardly even mentioned. My thoughts on it from purely a google search standpoint, just use Afterburner as it seems to be far better than Expertool.

I once explained to my girlfriend what true love is. I said, "If you were a shit, I'd put you back in" and to this day, she is still my little shit.
