So, I'm getting a desktop that can be found here

Spoiler

But I also want a laptop that can handle some medium games at decent settings.

Why a laptop AND a desktop?

Well... I'm an overnight security officer. That means long nights, and lots of sitting on my Chromebook watching netflix. And when I say long nights, I mean 12-14 hours per night.

So I was thinking... What if I get a laptop, instead of a desktop... but then I got to thinking that I also wanted a desktop, so I would just get both..

I found a decent laptop, at least I think it's decent, for a do-able price.

So why am I posting? I want to know if you guys think it's worth the money, and if not, how much should I pay for it.

So here It is.

Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor @ 2.4GHz
8Gb RAM
Calibrated Full HD (1920x1080) bright non-glare IPS display, no dead pixels
1 TB 7200 rpm HDD  (I'm going to put my SSD in it, and put this HDD in the optical bay.)
Nvidia GTX 750m

Illuminated keyboard
External speaker
Two chargers - original and smaller travel-size
Original box still available
Windows 10 Pro

$400

So, what do you guys think?

Worth?

or not..

Why not get a badass laptop and a dock instead of a seperate rig?

You can get laptops with desktop grade cpu's and GPU's and then ALWAYS have the desktop power but still have monitors etc.

That looks decent for the price. Though I'm not too sure about used laptop market in your area.. shop around allot.

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

@Dzzope

I would, but I'm working on a budget. I got a good price on the desktop, and got it, so I'm working with about $400 total right now. Also I want something that's not super huge and bulgy, and something that doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. I almost got an ASUS ROG, but it was a bit too big  to fit into my work bag, and the price was a bit outside my range.

And like i said, I'm only going to be playing light-medium games on it, so I don't wana go too over the top.

Thanks for the reply :)
