Suggestions for my CPU build

Hello guys

I am upgrading my CPU soon and i was considering the AMD FX 6300 as a good budgetish processor

I would like some suggestions on alternates and i will be changing my motherboard along with it.

My main requirement is games.

If you're looking for games I would go with a lower-ish end i5 because it had better performance-per- core than AMD, and games don't require the extra 2 cores that AMD offers over intel

The i5's are kind of out of budget, plus an overclocked fx 6300 can somewhat outperform an i5 stock, but I see your point.
