Set folder to close after opening application?

Go to solution Solved by vanished,

My suggestion would be to add that folder to the taskbar as a "toolbar" so you can just click on the arrow to open the menu, and then just click the game shortcut.

I have a folder on my desktop where I keep all of my games, and for the sake of my OCD, I want the folder to close after I click a game so I don't have to ALT+Tab just to close the folder.  It sounds unnecessary but I was just wondering if this is possible

you could make a batch file for each game that runs in a minimized window, restarts explorer (which closes all your folders), then runs the game. then set the original file to hidden and make a shortcut with a modified icon

theres probably a better way to do this

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
