So i was looking at an i5 4440 CPU, and on ARK it only said it supported up to 2 memory channels, so what does it mean by that? It can only hold up 2 RAM sticks or can it hold more because the motherboard I'm looking at has 4 RAM slots, and now I'm wondering if it would just be a waste of money to get those extra 2 RAM slots. Thanks!

the max memory will depend on your motherboard. the cpu supports up to 32gb of ram. dual channel essentially means that you will get a performance boost using either 2 or 4 sticks of ram. generally it will be more stable with 2. if it's between 2x 8gb sticks or 4x4 gb sticks you should go with the 2x 8
