How to over clock cpu

Hi guys,im kinda a noobie in computers,but,how do u overclockable a CPU,i m planning on building a computer and I'm still studying what I should get

To over clock, you need a good motherboard and BIOS. You then go into BIOS and you can change your clock rate.

so if you planning to overclock cpu you need an unlocked chipset eg intel 6600k and compatible mobo  eg, z170 are best for overclocking. will also need very good cooling preferably water cooling.

then yeah go into bios to change clock rates and other setting then testing to see if stable.
