So I have been having this problem for since about July

I have a 2MB/s download speed which should be just fine for online gaming.

Haven't had any problems until last year and even more this year when playing csgo, overwatch, league and many other games my ping just spikes up randomly every 10 seconds or so.

The only person on the internet than any other given time is my girlfriend which she just browses the internet and occasionally streams music.

I really don't know how to fix this problem and I do not even know what could cause this problem?

If someone could help that would be really fantastic.

Thanks in advance.

If she's streaming music, i presume it's 1080p youtube videos? That could be part of the problem.

Also, are you using ethernet, or wifi?

Have you tried a speedtest during peak hours, and comparing to non-peak hours? (7pm - 11pm)

Because if you get 2mb download outside of peak hours, the likelyhood is that it drops during peak hours.
